FA CUP - Saturday, January 7

This is a TOTAL homer pick but I still think it has a good chance.

HUDDERSFIELD (+3) -134 over Chelsea (402/300) Pinnacle

BRING IT ON!!!!

Lol... this is a crap shoot and you know it... Betting on your boys from Huddersfield is clearly just a crap shoot that says Chelsea gives up a bullshit goal either real early like they did against Scunthorpe last year, or a bullshit goal after going up 3-0. In all likelihood, probably 3-0 or 4-1 is the final which will get rid of all wagers in this one. Chelsea could clearly win by 7 if they wanted to.

Regardless, you had to LOVE this draw for your boys.... No Exeter's this year I'd hope...

Thanks for the response, Guru. Huddersfield CAN score. This is what I am banking on along with their ability to defend. David Mirfield and Nathan Clarke are Premiership level defenders and I beleive that Pavel Abott will find his way through for at least one goal.

In all honesty, I am hoping for a SHOCK draw and then "me relations" will have me over for the Replay at the Galpharm in Huddersfield when we see the real Chelsea.

You would've loved it. Your boys all over the tabloids yesterday talking about the big upset.

At least they got their 15 minutes.

Chelsea 4-1

good luck to your team, betting wise the over might be the better option if you think they are scoring..but anyway, once in a while it can be also nice just to enjoy a game without a coin on it.

My plays for today are (be carefull as i dont have a clue of any teams below the championship)

Christal Palace over Northhampton -1.5
Middleb over Nueaton -2
Charlton - Shef Wed -0.5
Stoke- Tanworth -1.5

one fav-parlay

Christ Pala (1.33) + ManCity (1.14) + Middle (1.14) + Southhamp (1.40) + Stoke (1.20) for a combined 2.90

Just busting your chains Mark, but you have no shot of going home in this one for anything more than watching the rest of the cup matches on TV. Chelsea's reserves are all better than most Premiership teams are... I can't seeing fading Chelsea in this cup, but I sure as shit can't see laying 3 goals in an English soccer match... I'll pull for ya though... what the hell. Dumber shit has happened in soccer. See: Exeter.

Two other FA Cup plays that I like today.....

PORTSMOUTH (ml) +110 over Ipswich (200/220) Pinnacle
BLACKBURN (-1.25) +100 over QPR (200/200) Pinnacle

I also like that play on Crystal Palace, chriscol. Good Luck!

Well, it's only 1-0 at Halftime. Huddersfield have not embarrassed themselves so far on the largest of stages.

LET'S GO FOR THE EQUALIZER!!!

Attendance for the Chelsea-Huddersfield match is reported to be 41,650

Playing in front of that many people must be MIND-BLOWING for the Huddersfield lads.

A very nice 4-0 in FA Cup matches today with HUDDERSFIELD, BLACKBURN, PORTSMOUTH and CRYSTAL PALACE all covering!!

HUDDERSFIELD made a VERY good accounting of themselves at Chelsea today. Even though they lost, Huddersfield will feel as though they won. This result will give them TREMENDOUS confidence as they fight for Automatic Promotion to League Championship!!

Lol.... wtg MM.... Only in the FA can you have losses be "moral" victories. What gives with Birmingham having to come home to face Torquay again.... that team's a mess and looks like it might be joining you in Championship next year...

Luton v Liverpool was the game today for your lock-as soon as Liverpool went 2-1 down then 3-1 down-I managed to get in both with a combined win of 31 times my stake.Just new to your site guys but have a decent knowledge of the english leagues and a season ticket at old trafford so if I can help dont hesitate to ask.Now should I do a pats/bucs double tonight?
